Per Jos. Campbell – ” in many ways our lives evoke our character ” I find this to be true.
Every “traditionally successful public person and many successful private people” have paid a price for their success, (outside the simple hard work, ambition and luck that it usually takes). The multiple divorces, the white lies, corruption and fraud that is rampant. As they speak I would like to have them look in a mirror and look at their lives and than ask what “I have I done”.
If they did that first, acknowledged their “price”. They might get some of their character back.
