Barn Theories – 4.5 months in.

  • In May, heat will still be necessary.
  • Who said you you can’t have a Temper-pedic in a barn.
  • You still need the internet.
  • You need a vacuum and a broom.
  • Even in a barn, you still need to take your dirty sneakers off.
  • Having a desk is key.  On par with most hand tools.
  • You need a girls port – o – potty and a boys port – o -potty.
  • Wives do not always like staying at the Barn.
  • Grand kids do.
  • Living where you work and working where you live is a double edged sword.
  • All the extra materials you saved in the barn for the next project, are obsolete.
  • All barns should have separate sleeping quarters.
  • All barns need hot water, fridge, cooking utensils and appliances.
  • A 55″ Samsung is important.
  • A beat up leather chair is very important.
  • You still need trash service, mail delivery, comcast and the grid.
  • Barns need Air Conditioning.
  • Barns, like boats and RV’s, give a certain framework for living.  Can do, make do, will do.
  • Barns teach flexibility and understanding.
  • It’s cheap living in the barn. Waste not, want not.
  • Outdoor showers continue to be the only way to go.
  • It was simply great.
  • It is almost over.
