This was written back in the day … a little sexist, could cut in reverse, (the male in charge, but I doubt it.) In 2013 it is open to all sexual orientation and marriage types.
The Skirt Theory – A level of acceptance in ones personal (relationship) life – you are no longer fully in charge of your life.
Your wife is…
All the people below are knee deep in it now. No single males have survived.
- Bill Muir has been recently quoted as saying, How does my skirt look?
- Tom doesn’t think he’s wearing a skirt but Melissa knows different – after all she lets him pick out the color.
- Both G & J are now learning the skirt theory – First hand
- Kris Carlson is fighting the skirt theory with all his might – however he is losing slowly.
- Mike Rousseau has always been comfortable in a skirt – he should be commended.
- Richard B. Harris, the Wizard from Westboro, understands the skirt theory, he just didn’t know it had a name. I have explained –
- Chris Mainhart has lived the skirt theory forever – he has no problem with it as long as he can play BB on Tuesday & Friday nights.
- Mike Maloney not even close to being ready for the Skirt Theory. Sean is fighting with all his strength & Doe Boy has seen the house of the skirt – and left.
2013 – Sam Kelley now understands the skirt theory fully – he seems to relish it. They even have a dog, and make the bed and the kitchen was clean. Thx, Sarah. (2014 RIP)
For all the girls and boys in good relationships – if you can think back to when you were completely in charge of your time, with no interference or interruption and then compare it to all the aggravation, the joy, the laughter, the sharing, the giving, the taking – that has been going on – We all know we wouldn’t want to trade a minute.
Well that’s not quite true, a few minutes of solitude is nice.
Here is a fun exercise –
I was ___ years old when I first realized my life wasn’t really mine.
I was ____ years old when I had the thought, ” my parents were right”
I was _____ years old when I realized my parents were doing their best and children caused the wrinkles.
I was ____ years old when I would sell out to the “man”, because we needed milk and bread.
